Jordan Ferreira of University Place, WA (2013) took the lead at the La Costa Open by one stroke on Saturday, then returned with a vengeance on Sunday - extended her lead and earned her first FCWT title.  The 14 year old Ferreira finished 2nd at Mission Hills in December - almost tasting victory.  Today, that dream was realized as she posted a final round of 76 to win by 4 strokes over one of her playing partners

Sarah Schmelzel of Phoeniz, AZ (2012), who began the day tied for 2nd.  It was the second 2nd place finish for Sarah this season.  Jordan's round also earned her the Low Round honors while leading in pars for the weekend with 23.

Tess Jennings of Portland, OR (2012), who won the PGA West event, moved from 4th place to 3rd on Sunday, earning her third Top 5 finish of the season.  Marguerite Swearingen of Livermore, CA (2011) finished in 4th place while Szu-Hsu Huang of TAIWAN (2011) , who led the field in birdies with 4, finished in 5th.

Audrey Monssoh's Mission Accomplished

Audrey Monssoh of Howey-in-the-Hills, FL (2011), began the final round tied for 2nd with Gemma Dryburgh.  On Saturday,

Isabel Southard of Sharon, MA (2012), had opened the Mission Inn Challenge with a 75 to take the lead.  With her work cut out for her, Audrey wasted no time.  A birdie on the first hole set the tone for the day.  Hard work allowed her to tie for Low Round honors with Katerina Krasova and Mallory Viera and it also allowed her to capture her first FCWT title.  Audrey led the division in pars with 22 for the weekend and has earned an exemption to the National Championship.  Overnight leader Isabel finished in 2nd place at 152, 2 strokes back of Audrey.

Fifteen year old Katerina Krasova of Ricany, Czech Republic (2012) earned third place in her first FCWT event, just 3 strokes off the pace.

Gemma Dryburgh of Aberdeen, SCOTLAND (2011) finished 4th at 157.
